Mitcham Park Football Club - About Us

This successful attitude has not gone unnoticed as we now find ourselves in a position where we offer children in the local Mitcham community a choice of 21 teams now play in Surrey Youth League and Southern Sunday Football League. We are considered a well operated, respected family friendly club by not only the local community but also by the Surrey Football Association.

Our home ground is at the Three Kings Piece in Mitcham where a special word of thanks has to go to Merton Council for providing our club with six superb pitches and to our sponsors for providing kits, equipment and much needed financial support. Changing rooms with full facilities are also available on site. Our winter training facility is at Harris Academy Merton, Wide Way, Mitcham. The academy has a floodlit full size training facility. This facility comes with both full and 5 a side pitches. Winter training is at Harris Academy on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from beginning of October until end of March.

We were rewarded for all our hard work in achieving FA Charter Community Standard status by receiving our commemorative plaque at Craven Cottage, Fulham’s home ground, on Saturday, 11th February 2017. Our Chairman, Mark Rogers, along with Committee members, senior managers and a few boys and girls from the U12’s – U16’s were invited onto the pitch prior to Fulham FC’s match against Wigan Athletic on Saturday, 11th February to be presented with their award by Surrey FA County Member, Paul Mallon. The Club has grown in this short space of time to include 20 boy’s teams, and 1 adult (men's) team. We have Level 1, Level 2 and UEFA B & C coaches to cater for all ages and abilities.

Given Mitcham Park's remarkable success over the past few years, we were described by Surrey County FA as a great model of a well-run club with great potential to be a ‘major force within Surrey in years to come’.
